Refund and Returns Policy

We aim to provide high-quality books that inspire positivity, learning, and personal growth.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or physically torn book

  • You received the wrong product

  • The book has major printing issues

To be eligible:

  • The request must be made within 3 days of delivery

  • The product must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • The item must be returned with its original packaging

Note: We do not accept returns for reasons such as
“not liking the content,” “changed my mind,” etc.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • E-books / digital products (if offered in future)

  • Books damaged due to customer mishandling

  • Books returned without original packaging

  • Books with minor wear/creases caused during courier transit

  • Products described as “Non-Returnable” on the website

3. Return Request Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at [Add Email Address]

  2. Include your order ID, contact number, and clear photos/videos of the issue

  3. Our support team will verify and approve the request (if eligible)

Once approved:

  • We will arrange a pickup through our courier partner

  • Please keep the package ready and sealed

4. Replacement Policy

If the issue is confirmed, we first try to provide a replacement copy of the same book.
Replacement will be processed if:

  • The same item is in stock

  • The returned item passes quality check

If replacement is not available, we will issue a refund.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only when:

  • A replacement is not possible

  • The book is out of stock

  • The return request is approved and verified

  • The item passes quality inspection after return

Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to:

  • Original payment method (UPI / card / net banking / wallet), or

  • Bank account (if required)

Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within:

  • 5–7 working days after the returned item is received and inspected

  • Bank processing may add additional days

6. Order Cancellation

6.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it is shipped.
Once shipped, it will fall under the Return Policy.

6.2 Cancellation by BooksForLife.in

We may cancel orders if:

  • The item is unavailable

  • Payment issues occur

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected

A full refund will be issued if payment was already made.

7. Damaged During Transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  • Record a video while unboxing (recommended)

  • Send the photos/video to us within 24 hours of delivery

We will verify and process a replacement or refund.

8. Incorrect Address / Missed Delivery

If the delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Customer not available

  • Customer refusing the package

Re-shipping charges may apply, and refund decisions will be case-specific.
