We aim to deliver your books safely, quickly, and efficiently. This Shipping Policy explains how your orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–2 working days after receiving payment.

  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

You will receive an order confirmation and tracking details once your shipment is dispatched.

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges depend on:

  • Delivery location

  • Courier partner’s rates

  • Order value

Applicable shipping charges will be shown on the checkout page before payment.

3. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery time after dispatch:

  • Metro Cities: 2–5 working days

  • Non-Metro Cities: 4–8 working days

  • Remote / Interior Areas: 7–12 working days

Note: Delivery times may vary due to courier delays, holidays, strikes, weather conditions, or situations beyond our control.

4. Courier Partners

We ship through reliable courier partners such as:

  • India Post

  • Anjani Courier
    (Or any other trusted logistics provider)

Our priority is safe and timely delivery.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped:

  • You will receive a consignment number via email.

  • You can track on India Post or courier company website.

  • If tracking is not active immediately, please allow a few hours for the courier system to update

6. Delivery Attempts

Courier partners usually attempt delivery once or twice.
Delivery may fail if:

  • The customer is unavailable

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete

  • Phone number is unreachable

If the order is returned to us (RTO), re-shipping charges may apply.

7. Packaging & Safety

All books are securely packed using:

  • Protective covers

  • Sturdy envelopes or boxes

This ensures your books arrive in good condition.

8. Damaged or Tampered Package

If you receive a damaged or tampered package:

  • Take photos/videos immediately

  • Do not accept the delivery (if visibly damaged)

  • Contact us within 24 hours with proof

9. International Shipping

Currently, BooksForLife.in does not offer international shipping.
We only deliver within India.
